The South Madison Community Event Calendar was created to help keep our small towns strong, even as we grow. The Community Event Calendar is managed by the South Madison Community Foundation as a tool to support nonprofit and community organizations in their efforts to create a more vibrant and connected community.
Inaugural Lunch and Learn Series
October 19 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Participants will join restaurateur Teddi Mangas-Coon in the kitchen at Gallery 119 to learn to “Make Baklava like a Greek Yia Yia”. Participants will bake a small pan of baklava using 60 layers of filo dough, walnuts, pecans, butter, sugar and honey. All supplies will be provided. While baking, bring a bag lunch to enjoy. Coffee and water will be provided. Cost is $30. Class is limited to 10 people.
