The South Madison Community Event Calendar was created to help keep our small towns strong, even as we grow. The Community Event Calendar is managed by the South Madison Community Foundation as a tool to support nonprofit and community organizations in their efforts to create a more vibrant and connected community.
Breast Cancer Awareness Walk, Health Fair, and Brunch
October 5 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
We are thrilled to invite you to our Breast Cancer Awareness Event on October 5th from 9 am to 12 pm at the Anderson Impact Center. This event is an opportunity for our community to come together and show support for those whose lives were affected by breast cancer.
The event will begin with a Breast Cancer Awareness Walk. We encourage you to invite others from your organization to join us in walking to demonstrate the importance of this cause.
If you want a long-sleeved awareness shirt, please submit your $20 payment by September 27th to the Minority Health Office.
After the walk, you’ll have the chance to showcase your services and products to a diverse group of attendees and network with other like-minded individuals.
We will also host a brunch featuring Anderson’s Highland High School Tennis Star, Ashlee Davis-Brooks, who will share her impactful story and journey in the fight against breast cancer.
During the brunch we will recognize Breast Cancer Survivors. Please share any breast cancer survivor photos of yourself or a loved one, as we want to honor you.
