Family Lego Afternoon – Building Bonds

Pendleton Community Public Library 595 E. Water St., Pendleton

All ages are invited to the Community Room for an afternoon of open building and engineering. Classic Legos as well as Duplos, Lincoln Logs, and old fashioned wooden blocks will be available.

Spring Into Dance

Reardon Auditorium, Anderson University 1100 E. 5th St., Anderson

The SMTD dance program invites you to a riveting performance of dance at Reardon Auditorium in our yearly offering of Spring Into Dance, on Friday March 22 at 7:30pm and Saturday March 23 at 2:30pm. This exhilarating concert features a diverse evening of traditional and original choreography by AU’s outstanding dance faculty. Also included on the program will be a thrilling new work created especially for our dancers by guest choreographer Stuart Lewis, Associate Artistic Director of Dance Kaleidoscope.

Country Fried Steak Dinner – Fundraiser

Country fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, corn, dessert, and drink for $9.00. Proceeds support the charitable outreach of the Lapel American Legion.

The full-service cafe will be donating 10% of food and beverage sales to The Animal Protection League.

Anderson Symphony Orchestra “An Evening of Song” Concert

Paramount Theater 1124 Meridian Street, Anderson

On March 23rd, The historic Paramount Theatre Centre and Ballroom Anderson will be hosting An Evening of Song featuring a collection of 12 special performers, 8 of whom are Anderson University Alumni! The panel of Alumni includes Sandi Patty ‘79, Jon Mclaughlin ‘05, Layke Jones ‘20, Sarah Dearstyne ‘17, Lynelle Johnson Steffan ‘96, Sarah Scharbrough McLaughlin ‘01, Heather Bays Music ‘94, and fresh off a 2024 Grammy nomination for Best Classical Solo Vocal Album, Lawrence Brownlee ‘96. This performance will also be led by legendary Anderson Symphony Orchestra Maestro, and former AU Professor of Music, Rick Sowers. This will be Sowers’ 2nd to last show as Maestro for the Anderson Symphony Orchestra.

There will be a talkback reception immediately after the performance where you can meet the performers, Maestro Sowers, and hear a bit about some exciting things happening in the Anderson University School of Music, Theatre, and Dance.
