The South Madison Community Event Calendar was created to help keep our small towns strong, even as we grow. The Community Event Calendar is managed by the South Madison Community Foundation as a tool to support nonprofit and community organizations in their efforts to create a more vibrant and connected community.

Tadpole Day Camp
Mounds State Park 4306 Mounds Road, Anderson, IN 46017, AndersonCalling all young Naturalists ages 6 years to 8 years old! Join other Jr. explorers and learn about nature in a fun, hands on half day camp. Camp dates are June 10 through June 13. Hours are 9 a.m. to 11:30 (Monday through Wednesday) and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday. Hikes, crafts, creek stomps, and it is all topped off on the last day with a camp fire lunch. Cost is $75 per student, but if you require financial assistance, the Friends of Mounds State Park generously sponsor a limited number of scholarships. Space is limited, so register soon!
