The August “God Abundance Meal” at the Markleville East Christian Church will be Wednesday, Aug. 21, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the lower part of the church.

Menu will be chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans, applesauce, assorted desserts, and drink. Dine in or take out.

Whether you are looking for a way to give back to your community or support a friend who is fighting an illness, blood donation is a generous and vital gift!

Join us as we network and celebrate with a ribbon cutting for our new Operation Love Community Garden and Greenspace, which is providing fresh produce for our community and an added beautification for the surrounding neighborhood!

School-age children are invited to cool off with a wet sponge fight, bubbles, sidewalk art, and more. Loose fitting clothing recommended. Popsicles provided!
