Beginning Water Color

Pendleton Artists Society Gallery 119 119 W State Street, Pendleton

Beginning water color with Katy Burke. Participants will have the chance to create a window/floral watercolor painting with basic concepts of painting with water. Cost is $50.

God Abundance Meal

East Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) 124 E. Main St, Markleville

This month’s God Abundance Meal sponsored by the Christian Women Fellowship “Comfort Keepers” will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, in the basement of East Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 124 E. Main St.

The menu will include chicken-and-noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans, applesauce, roll, assorted desserts and a drink. A freewill offering will be taken. Carryout will be available for the immediate area.

Call Betty at 765-623-3553 in advance, or call the church, 765-533-4996, on the day of the meal.

The church is handicap accessible.
