Stephen T. Jackson will present "Presenting the Presidents of the United States of America-Part 2" a 16 part series based on his book "If the River Could Talk, Stories of the White River in Madison County". This 16 part series is being touted as part of the America 250 Celebration.

Local Purdue Alumni Club to hold fall dinner

ANDERSON — The Purdue Alumni Club of Anderson and Madison County will hold its fall dinner meeting at the Purdue Polytechnic Anderson facility, 1920 Purdue Parkway, Anderson.

Following dinner and a short business meeting, Trevor Foley, senior director of International Engagements and Alumni Travel with the Purdue for Life Foundation, will speak on the Purdue Travel Services.

A member of the Purdue for Life staff will be on hand at the dinner to answer questions about the alumni association.

Dinner begins at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8. The meal will have an Italian theme. The price for the meal is $15 for adults and $10 for those 12 and under.

Proceeds will go to the club’s scholarship fund. Purdue alumni as well as friends of Purdue are welcome. It should be a fun evening learning about travel opportunities alumni and friends have at their fingertips. Donations to the scholarship fund will not be refused.
