Broom Making Workshop

Come to the Nature Center and learn how to make a cobweb broom. Supply fee of $30.00 will cover the cost of materials to make a cobweb or hand broom, instruction, and light refreshment. Anderson Symphony Orchestra: Classical Masterworks with wine and chocolate pre-show

Following the Chocolate and Wine Event, join us for the Classical Masterworks concert conducted by Richard Sowers and featuring Sirena Huang, gold medal winner of the 2022 International Violin Competition of Indianapolis and one of the world’s finest young violinists. As our guest artist, she will perform the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto in D Major. The Beethoven Overture to Egmont will begin the concert, and Brahms Symphony No. 1 will round out the evening of classical masterworks. Cabaret in the Commons

The annual Cabaret in the Commons is back! The Jazz Band and Show Choir will perform while the audience is served a meal of pulled pork, baked beans, cole slaw, hash brown casserole, chocolate sheet cake and drinks. The cost is $15 for the meal and show and $5 for just the show. Tickets can be purchased by calling Lapel High School at 765-534-3036. Proceeds will benefit show choir, jazz band, and Lapel Food Pantry. Attendees are encouraged to bring canned food donations for a collection taking place the night of the event.
