Discover your inner film critic by casting your vote for Best Film and Best Actor in the 27th Annual MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival screening Sept.26-Oct. 6, 2024. You'll join film lovers in over 500 venues across the globe gathering to see the Ten Finalist in this year's event. With past finalists garnering Oscar nominations and short films continuing to move into the Hollywood mainstream, come see this entertaining program featuring the best short films in the world today! Ballots supplied upon entry.

Explore local history on display at the free museum next to the Falls. Relax on the porch and strike up a conversation with one of the volunteer docents.

Jewelry class with Tracy Davidson. Beginner or intermediate class, students will design unique rings involving lots of texture. Simple soldering and participants will choose from an assortment of gemstones. Cost is $60.

Join Anderson Farmers Market and Bloom Director, Anna Ulam, for a live cooking demonstration! Participants learn how to create nutritious dishes, spotlighting fresh, seasonal produce. Everyone will enjoy a dis and take home a locally grown ingredient!
Free to attend, but registration is required.

Stephen T. Jackson will present "Our First Ladies-Part 2" a 16 part series based on his book "If the River Could Talk, Stories of the White River in Madison County". This 16 part series is being touted as part of the America 250 Celebration.

Candlelight yoga will use a gentle, flow style class that focuses on breathing and light stretching. It is the perfect way to end your day and wind down before bed.

We are the founders of the Village Fair. We work each year to organize and host our town’s most anticipated annual event.
Proceeds of the Lapel Village Fair and Indiana State Fair Dairy Barn have been used in the following:
Installation of 58 street lights on Lapel's Main Street.
American and Bulldog flags and Christmas decorations on the street lights.

If interested in joining the Lapel Community Association, meetings are usually the first Wednesday of the month at Lapel Stony Creek Fire Department. We are dark the months of December, January and February.
