Local Purdue Alumni Club to hold fall dinner

ANDERSON — The Purdue Alumni Club of Anderson and Madison County will hold its fall dinner meeting at the Purdue Polytechnic Anderson facility, 1920 Purdue Parkway, Anderson.

Following dinner and a short business meeting, Trevor Foley, senior director of International Engagements and Alumni Travel with the Purdue for Life Foundation, will speak on the Purdue Travel Services.

A member of the Purdue for Life staff will be on hand at the dinner to answer questions about the alumni association.

Dinner begins at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8. The meal will have an Italian theme. The price for the meal is $15 for adults and $10 for those 12 and under.

Proceeds will go to the club’s scholarship fund. Purdue alumni as well as friends of Purdue are welcome. It should be a fun evening learning about travel opportunities alumni and friends have at their fingertips. Donations to the scholarship fund will not be refused.

Bring your family & get FREE Warm Coats Saturday, October 12th at our 4th Annual Blue Bridge Project! Everyone is welcome & all coats are always absolutely FREE! We don’t ask any questions, and there is no paper work! There is never judgement, so please come & get coats for your family.
The event kicks off at 2PM! The Blue Bridge is the John F. Kennedy Bridge of Character (Blue walking bridge) you can access from the parking lot of the Madison County Div of Family Resources in Anderson, Indiana.
Volunteers will meet together at the Blue Bridge at 1PM! We need lots of volunteers to help our community get warm coats!
