The Community Event Calendar is managed by the South Madison Community Foundation as a tool to support nonprofit and community organizations in their efforts to create a more vibrant and connected community.

Anderson Public Library History Series

Stephen T. Jackson will present "Mr. Riley's Triumphal Return" a 16 part series based on his book "If the River Could Talk, Stories of the White River in Madison County". This 16 part series is being touted as part of the America 250 Celebration.

Golf Outing/Scholarship Fundraiser

Edgewood Golf and Event Center 519 Golf Club Road, Anderson, Indiana

Purdue Alumni Club of Anderson/Madison County's 30th annual scholarship fundraiser! Event raised funds to award up to eight scholarships to Madison County freshmen entering Purdue. The club has awarded over $175,000 over the years. This year's scholarship winners will be recognized at a dinner following the outing.

The club invites area Purdue alumni and friends of Purdue to become active in its events.

Open Hearts, Open Purses Award Night

South Madison County's women's giving circle will mark its fifteenth year of community impact at the Open Hearts, Open Purses Award night!

Open to members who each contribute $100, the evening includes finalist presentations, member vote, and award presentations. Girls under age 18 may join as junior members for $25 - juniors award their own grant!

KSU at 11am Poker Style Run will begin and end at Lapel American Legion
