Candlelight yoga will use a gentle, flow style class that focuses on breathing and light stretching. It is the perfect way to end your day and wind down before bed. Free to attend.
Fifth and Sixth grade book club is back! This book club is designed for children who love to read or would love to improve their reading skills. Three Wednesday fall series - registration required. Read Me a Story is a traditional library storytime in the shade of the Lapel Branch greenspace.
Read Me a Story is a less noisy program with individual play, so it has a TURTLE sensory and activity level: low noise with focused, calm activity.
This program emphasizes the early literacy activities of READ, PLAY, SING, TALK, and WRITE which are essential habits for getting ready to read, as determined by the American Library Association's Every Child Ready to Read program.
Join Amanda Rhodes as she guides you through the creation of your own spooky painting. You must register in advance for this teen program.

Daybreak, Ford Street, & Trinity Churches invite you to Trunk or Treat 2023 they will have inflatables, food, hayrides, candy, and fun.
Anderson Symphony Orchestra's Halloween concerts are a local treasure.
As is ASO tradition, the orchestra and conductor will be dressed in their finest Halloween attire. All music will be animal-related, as ASO teams up with the Animal Protection League and the Anderson Humane Society for a program that will include a kidsβ costume parade. Maestro Sowersβ Boston Terrier, Daisy, will make a cameo appearance.
