Read Me a Story is a traditional library storytime in the shade of the Lapel Branch greenspace.
Read Me a Story is a less noisy program with individual play, so it has a TURTLE sensory and activity level: low noise with focused, calm activity.
This program emphasizes the early literacy activities of READ, PLAY, SING, TALK, and WRITE which are essential habits for getting ready to read, as determined by the American Library Association's Every Child Ready to Read program.

In this class you will take pieces of sea glass (provided) and learn basic wire wrapping techniques to create pendants. Both Mommy and child will be making jewelry. $10.00 per person ($20.00 per parent/child pair). If parent does not want to participate in making jewelry, only $10.00 for the child will be charged.
