The South Madison Community Event Calendar was created to help keep our small towns strong, even as we grow. The Community Event Calendar is managed by the South Madison Community Foundation as a tool to support nonprofit and community organizations in their efforts to create a more vibrant and connected community.
The annual ice cream fundraiser for the Adams-Markleville Fire Protection Territory is scheduled for Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m. at the fire station, 7457 S. 200E, Markleville. This program emphasizes the early literacy activities of READ, PLAY, SING, TALK, and WRITE which are essential habits for getting ready to read, as determined by the American Library Association's 'Every Child Ready to Read' program.
