The South Madison Community Event Calendar was created to help keep our small towns strong, even as we grow. The Community Event Calendar is managed by the South Madison Community Foundation as a tool to support nonprofit and community organizations in their efforts to create a more vibrant and connected community.

Join us for an hour of stories and fun at Gathering Grounds Coffee Shop in Lapel. Enjoy stories, songs, finger-plays, and rhymes. Strengthen early literacy skills and encourage the joy of learning. Each program ends with a fun craft or activity!

3 Rivers is celebrating its first year of getting to know (and grow in) Madison County, and the public is invited to celebrate with them! Snacks and giveaways are available all day and from 11-2 popular food truck "Big Higg the Food Dude" will be onsite.
Bring your journal that you made yesterday at the library to this hike! We’ll talk a little more about the joys of nature journaling and then take a hike on parts of the Red Loop to see what we can add to our journals. Didn’t attend the library’s program last night? You can still join us for the hike. Meet in the Community Building. 1 hour.

Celebrating its 30th season in 2024, the Pendleton Indiana Farmers Market is located in Falls Park along the banks of Fall Creek at the heart of downtown Pendleton. Over sixty vendors set up each Saturday from May to September from 9am to 12:30pm.
Explore local history on display at the free museum next to the Falls. Relax on the porch and strike up a conversation with one of the volunteer docents.
