Flintknapping Workshop
Mounds State Park 4306 Mounds Road, Anderson, IN 46017, Anderson, IndianaFlint knapping is the process of turning stone into tools. Come learn basic flint knapping skills and make a point to take home. The program fee of $25.00 covers use of flint knapping tools and supplies need to make a point. Workshop lasts 4 hours and participants must bring leather work gloves and safety glasses. Space is limited, and pre-registration is required. To register visit friendsofmounds-programs.square.site.

Native Plant Terrarium Workshop

Learn about closed-system terrariums and the Indiana native plants we will use to create them. Each participant will build their own enclosed ecosystem featuring a selection of native plants and leave with the knowledge and tools to care for them. This workshop will last approximately 2 hours and has a supply fee of $20, which will cover instruction, all materials, and plants.
