Intertwined II: A Contemporary Fibers Exhibition & Call for Art

Anderson Museum of Art 32 West 10th Street, Anderson, Indiana

Artisans are invited to enter AMOA's 2nd textile/fiber competition and exhibition. AMOA will exhibit submissions that reflect a wide range of works related to the fiber medium. The goal of the exhibition is to include innovative work rooted in traditional fiber materials, structure, processes, and history, as well as art that explores unexpected relationships between fiber and other creative disciplines. Our judge this year is Carrie Wright.
This competitive exhibit will be showcased alongside Intertwined II: A Contemporary Fibers Exhibit
featuring the work of Martina Celerin, Constance Collins, Anne McKenzie Nicholson, and Daren Redman.

Summer Camp at the Y

During this week, campers will craft their own masterpiece and learn what it's like to be an entrepreneur. They will learn about farming, caring for homestead animals, gardening, and more!

AU Filmmakers Camp

Anderson University 1100 E. 5th St., Anderson, Indiana

This is an extraordinary and innovative week-long introduction to the profession of filmmaking designed especially for high school students. The unique program was developed by the Anderson University Communication Arts faculty. It is sponsored and held at Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana.

It is not necessary to have any experience in filmmaking in order to benefit from this unique program. Classes are designed to provide practical skills and experience for all high school students.

Ages: High school age students, 14-18
Dates: June 3-8, 2024
Times: This is an overnight camp.
Tuition: Early Bird Registration is $550 by April 14, 2024. Tuition after April 14 is $650.
Check-in: Monday, June 3 from 4-6 p.m.
Check-out: Saturday, June 8 at 12 p.m.
