"The Game Corner" features a friendly video game tournament for teens in grades 6-12. Recent game selections include Nintendo Switch Sports, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, TowerFall, and Rocket League.
Drop by for an evening of family fun at the Lapel Branch! There will be an assortment of games for all ages available to play. We will have bowling, giant jenga, giant sorry, as well as a variety of other board games and card games for your family to explore. Be sure to check out our early literacy play area and don't miss our group game at 6pm.

Story Time is aimed for children age 0-6. Come visit for books, snacks, crafts, and playtime!
Read Me a Story is a traditional library storytime in the shade of the Lapel Branch greenspace.
Read Me a Story is a less noisy program with individual play, so it has a TURTLE sensory and activity level: low noise with focused, calm activity.
This program emphasizes the early literacy activities of READ, PLAY, SING, TALK, and WRITE which are essential habits for getting ready to read, as determined by the American Library Association's Every Child Ready to Read program.
