Read Me a Story is a less noisy program with individual play, so it has a TURTLE sensory and activity level: low noise with focused, calm activity.
This program emphasizes the early literacy activities of READ, PLAY, SING, TALK, and WRITE which are essential habits for getting ready to read, as determined by the American Library Association's 'Every Child Ready to Read' program.

Back to School Event
Jesse Ireton Memorial Park downtown Ingalls, Ingalls, IndianaParents with children at Maple Ridge Elementary School have an opportunity to receive help with school supplies and more. Supplies that will be made available include classroom supplies from the MRES supply list, backpacks, and clothing. The event is being sponsored by the school as well as Green Township, Outfitters, First United Methodist Church (Pendleton and Ingalls campuses) and South Madison Food Pantry. In case of rain, the event will shift to Green Township Park, 10609 S. State Road 13.
