The South Madison Community Event Calendar was created to help keep our small towns strong, even as we grow. The Community Event Calendar is managed by the South Madison Community Foundation as a tool to support nonprofit and community organizations in their efforts to create a more vibrant and connected community.
Join felting artist Kylee Eller, from Westwind Farm and Fiber, and make a felted mushroom. Flint knapping is the process of turning stone into tools. Come learn basic flint knapping skills and make a point to take home. The program fee of $25.00 covers use of flint knapping tools and supplies need to make a point. Workshop lasts 4 hours and participants must bring leather work gloves and safety glasses.
