Read Me a Story is a traditional library storytime in the Children's area.
Read Me a Story is a less noisy program with individual play, so it has a TURTLE sensory and activity level: low noise with focused, calm activity.
This program emphasizes the early literacy activities of READ, PLAY, SING, TALK, and WRITE which are essential habits for getting ready to read, as determined by the American Library Association's Every Child Ready to Read program.

The Anderson Area Children’s Choir and the youth of the AMT’s Let’s Play program are bringing you a night of lively entertainment for free! Come to support youth performing arts and find out more about how to join both groups! The program will be about an hour long, and both organizations will have information booths set up.
