Yuletide Christmas Celebration

Join us for Yuletide Christmas Celebration presented by PHHS Choral Department. Don't miss the opportunity for a special Meet and Greet, as well as your chance to get professional photos taken with Santa and all this friends! All Meet and Greets will come with a link for unlimited printing and sharing of photos!

Family Game Night

We will have bowling, giant jenga, giant sorry, as well as a variety of other board games and card games for your family to explore. Be sure to check out our early literacy play area and don't miss our group game at 6pm.

This event is an opportunity to celebrate the holidays with fellow PBA members.

Annual Holiday Celebration

Lapel High School 1850 S 900 W, Lapel, Indiana

Lapel High School Concert Band, Concert Choir, Jazz Band and Show Choir will all perform as they spread the Christmas spirit.

The High School Concert Choir will strike a “fun chord” as they sing “A Wacky Family Christmas” and then dance to “Reindeer on the “Roof."

The Show Choir will sing “Underneath the Tree,” “Once Upon a December,” and the Barbra Streisand version of “Jingle Bells” plus a fun dance interlude.

Both choirs will combine to sing “A Merry Carol of the Bells.” Jeannine Terhune is the choir director; choreographers are Ron Morgan, Damon Brown and Amy Gilbert.

The High School Concert Band will continue the fun mood with its rendition of “The Twelve Days of Band Camp,” “Jingle Bells Fantasy” and “You Better Sleigh.” The evening will conclude with the Jazz Band adding to the festive atmosphere with “Big Band Holiday,” We Three Kings,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and “Caribbean Christmas.” Toni Bays is the band director.

About 150 students will participate in this evening of joy, and they hope you will join them. There is no admission fee, but donations will be gratefully accepted.

Read Me a Story is a traditional library storytime in the shade of the Lapel Branch greenspace.

Read Me a Story is a less noisy program with individual play, so it has a TURTLE sensory and activity level: low noise with focused, calm activity.

This program emphasizes the early literacy activities of READ, PLAY, SING, TALK, and WRITE which are essential habits for getting ready to read, as determined by the American Library Association's Every Child Ready to Read program.
