"The Game Corner" features a friendly video game tournament for teens in grades 6-12. Recent game selections include Nintendo Switch Sports, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, TowerFall, and Rocket League.

People interested in serving the best interest of their town on a town board or commission are invited to attend an informational meeting to learn about openings and meet staff and elected officials. Openings are expected on the Board of Zoning Appeals, Park and Recreation Board, Plan Commission, Historic Preservation Commission, Redevelopment Commission, Redevelopment Authority, Utility Rate Advisory Board, Board of Stormwater Management, Waterworks Board, Impact Fee Review Board, and Fall Creek Regional Waste. Terms vary between one and four years.
Read Me a Story is a traditional library storytime in the shade of the Lapel Branch greenspace.
Read Me a Story is a less noisy program with individual play, so it has a TURTLE sensory and activity level: low noise with focused, calm activity.
This program emphasizes the early literacy activities of READ, PLAY, SING, TALK, and WRITE which are essential habits for getting ready to read, as determined by the American Library Association's Every Child Ready to Read program.
Want to experience Christmas? Bring your family and friends to A Christmas Experience at East Side. The evenings will be full of hands-on, interactive fun for families. The ancient town of Bethlehem will be set up in the worship center with fifteen-minute performances of storytelling presenting the Christmas story. Visit the North Pole with stations for crafts, cookie decorating, writing a letter to Santa and more. We have spots available for people who want to help make these enchanting nights possible.
