Small, afternoon book club; members sometimes meet at each other's homes. We still reserve the room for them. This club meets from noon to 1:00 p.m. on the 3rd Thursday of every month (except Dec.)

Fund the food pantry and more with Operation Love Ministries' Dessert Benefit, Thursday Oct 17th!

5:00 - 6:00 pm carry out desserts
6:00 - 8:30 pm ticketed dinner, concert and program at AFC Community Center

Tickets include dinner, program, live auction for shared table desserts and live movie-themed music by an Anderson Symphony Orchestra Trio from 6-7:30.

Proceeds will benefit Operation Love Ministries to serve over 6,000 people each year with the food pantry, clothing pantry, Christmas Wishes, Back to School and Balanced Budget Programs.

The first team to finish wins the title of Puzzle Champion! Think you have what it takes? Bring your problem-solving skills, teamwork, and speed to this fun and exciting showdown. Don’t miss out on the chance to put the pieces together and claim victory! Each team must register with a team name. Only one person per team needed per registry.

The winning team gets $100 Amazon gift card.

Remember there are some rules.

No yard waste
Furniture should be wrapped in plastic if it is fabric.
If it takes more than two people to lift it, it may not get picked up.
Weight limit of 100 pounds.

Bargain books, games, magazines, etc. with proceeds going back to support library programs. On the last day, fill a bag for $1!

Storytime is aimed for children age 0-6. Visit for snacks, songs, crafts, and playtime!

Ready for Halloween Mounds State Park style? Join us October 18 to October 20 for Mounds Hoots and Howls Weekend. We will have a variety of night hikes available on Friday night (weather permitting). On Saturday, the Historic Halloween Festival explores the origins of Halloween traditions while celebrating "nostalgic" Halloween with games, pumpkin decorating, applebobbing, and of course...candy! There will be a costume contest parade where you can strut your spookiness around the park. Prizes will be awarded! Camping with us this weekend? Participate in the Campsite Decorating contest for prizes and bragging rights. Finish off your weekend on Sunday with a spooky themed program. More details will be announced as the event approached.
