The South Madison Community Event Calendar was created to help keep our small towns strong, even as we grow. The Community Event Calendar is managed by the South Madison Community Foundation as a tool to support nonprofit and community organizations in their efforts to create a more vibrant and connected community.

Learn about pioneer life when the Bronnenbergs arrived in Indiana. Activities for all ages will be located on the Bronnenberg lawn. See food cooked over an open fire, try your hand at making butter, learn how to sew a button, pet a goat, and more.
Town Submitted Special Event: Pendleton Pride is a community festival to celebrate and support the LGBTQ+ community in Pendleton and the surrounding areas. Food, merchandise, and community outreach vendors will participate.

Stephen T. Jackson will present "The Central and Hydraulic Canals" a 16 part series based on his book "If the River Could Talk, Stories of the White River in Madison County". This 16 part series is being touted as part of the America 250 Celebration.

Step into fall at the Lapel Branch Library! We will have Fall Carnival themed crafts and activities for everyone to enjoy. Bring your family and play some carnival games, participate in our Circus Bingo at 6pm (complete with prizes!), take a picture at our Carnival selfie station, and more.
Join Anderson Farmers Market and Bloom Director, Anna Ulam, for a live cooking demonstration! Participants learn how to create nutritious dishes, spotlighting fresh, seasonal produce. Everyone will enjoy a dis and take home a locally grown ingredient!
Free to attend, but registration is required.
