Fund the food pantry and more with Operation Love Ministries' Dessert Benefit, Thursday Oct 17th!

5:00 - 6:00 pm carry out desserts
6:00 - 8:30 pm ticketed dinner, concert and program at AFC Community Center

Tickets include dinner, program, live auction for shared table desserts and live movie-themed music by an Anderson Symphony Orchestra Trio from 6-7:30.

Proceeds will benefit Operation Love Ministries to serve over 6,000 people each year with the food pantry, clothing pantry, Christmas Wishes, Back to School and Balanced Budget Programs.

Bargain books, games, magazines, etc. with proceeds going back to support library programs. On the last day, fill a bag for $1!

Explore local history on display at the free museum next to the Falls. Relax on the porch and strike up a conversation with one of the volunteer docents.

Inaugural Gallery 119 Lunch and Learn Series.
Join restaurateur Teddi Mangas-Coon on (October 19th) (noon to 2) in the Gallery 119 kitchen to make your own pan of Greek Baklava! Perfect to freeze to share during the holidays!

We will each make a small pan of Baklava using 60 layers of filo dough, walnuts, pecans, plenty of butter, sugar and honey. All supplies will be provided. OPA!

While baking, bring a bagged lunch to enjoy. Coffee and water will be provided.

Class is limited to 10 people and plan to go for 2 hours together.

Participants will join restaurateur Teddi Mangas-Coon in the kitchen at Gallery 119 to learn to "Make Baklava like a Greek Yia Yia". Join us for a delightful day of discovery as we celebrate Pendleton’s rich heritage, vibrant community, and the warmth of our local hospitality. Proceeds from the event will support Friends for Paws, making this a chance to admire stunning homes and give back to a worthy cause.

Please save the date of October 19th for a screening of Black Excellence in Madison County. This is a documentary that is being created by our youth and led by Maria Alexander. More details to come but get the date on your calendar now.

Volunteers must:
Be 18 years or older to register OR have a guardian sign agreement below.
Bring a vehicle no later than 4:30pm to the Sports Complex
Decorate your trunk
Supply your own candy and/or give-away and hand them out throughout the duration of the event. Please bring enough to hand out to at least 500-1000 children. This event sees around 3000 people.
If you and a friend/spouse want to both bring a vehicle, each vehicle owner must register separately, but you may request that you are parked next to each other.

Come on out to Outfitters Fall Fundraiser, where your participation will help clothe children and change lives! There will be kayaking, cornhole, volleyball, hayrides, and a 50/50 raffle, plus tasty meals of chicken, ribs, and sides (kids meals too!). Great time - great cause!
