Gather your team of 2 and get ready for the ultimate puzzle challenge! In Piece by Piece: Puzzle Showdown, teams will race against the clock to complete a puzzle within one hour. The first team to finish wins the title of Puzzle Champion! Think you have what it takes? Bring your problem-solving skills, teamwork, and speed to this fun and exciting showdown. Don’t miss out on the chance to put the pieces together and claim victory! Each team must register with a team name. Only one person per team needed per registry.

Remember there are some rules.
No construction materials
No tires
No yard waste
Furniture should be wrapped in plastic if it is fabric.
If it takes more than two people to lift it, it may not get picked up.
Weight limit of 100 pounds.
If you are in question of an item please reach out to Lapel Town Hall at 765-534-3157.
Have it out on Thursday and be sure you don't have a vehicle parked in front of it.

Hoots and Howls Weekend, Mounds State Park

Ready for Halloween Mounds State Park style? Join us October 18 to October 20 for Mounds Hoots and Howls Weekend. We will have a variety of night hikes available on Friday night (weather permitting). On Saturday, the Historic Halloween Festival explores the origins of Halloween traditions while celebrating "nostalgic" Halloween with games, pumpkin decorating, applebobbing, and of course...candy! There will be a costume contest parade where you can strut your spookiness around the park. Prizes will be awarded! Camping with us this weekend? Participate in the Campsite Decorating contest for prizes and bragging rights. Finish off your weekend on Sunday with a spooky themed program. More details will be announced as the event approached. Make Baklava like a Greek Yia Yia

Inaugural Gallery 119 Lunch and Learn Series.
Join restaurateur Teddi Mangas-Coon on (October 19th) (noon to 2) in the Gallery 119 kitchen to make your own pan of Greek Baklava! Perfect to freeze to share during the holidays!

We will each make a small pan of Baklava using 60 layers of filo dough, walnuts, pecans, plenty of butter, sugar and honey. All supplies will be provided. OPA!

While baking, bring a bagged lunch to enjoy. Coffee and water will be provided.

Class is limited to 10 people and plan to go for 2 hours together.

Participants will join restaurateur Teddi Mangas-Coon in the kitchen at Gallery 119 to learn to "Make Baklava like a Greek Yia Yia".
