The Community Event Calendar is managed by the South Madison Community Foundation as a tool to support nonprofit and community organizations in their efforts to create a more vibrant and connected community.

Stephen T. Jackson will present "River Fords One Thru Five" a 16 part series based on his book "If the River Could Talk, Stories of the White River in Madison County". This 16 part series is being touted as part of the America 250 Celebration.

Learn to Swim with Pendleton Swim Club

Pendleton Heights High School 1 Arabian Dr., Pendleton, Indiana

Offering swim lessons to ages 4+ at various ability levels. Our focus is on water safety to help prevent drowning as well as beginning swimming techniques as used in a competitive swimming environment. All lessons are taught at the PHHS pool with a lifeguard on duty. Class cost: $80 Class meets May 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22

Lapel Community Association Monthly Meeting

We organize and host our town’s most anticipated annual event, the Lapel Village Fair.

Meetings are usually the first Wednesday of the month at Lapel Stony Creek Fire Department. We are dark the months of December, January and February.

Community Shred Day

There will be a shred truck onsite from 2:30 to 5:30. You can bring 2-3 banker boxes of paper to be shredded for no cost.
